Juergen Viehrig

Juergen Viehrig is an equity investor and co-founder of Homeric Enterprise Engineering (HE2). An entrepreneurial leader with 20 years of international, executive management experience, Juergen is expert at establishing, certifying, and ramping up aerospace production companies, and fulfilling large, complex projects, with expansive technical knowledge, risk analysis expertise, and strategic, decision-making talent. He is a result-oriented team builder, recruiting and guiding multinational, multifunctional teams, mentoring managers to top performance, and consulting customers to initiate projects and set up production.

In his role as general manager of PFW Aerospace subsidiary in Turkey, Mr. Viehrig projected, executed and established a greenfield production facility for titanium and CRES tubing systems and primary structures for Airbus and Boeing in the Aegean Free Trade Zone. He industrialized and certified a manufacturing line for all new Boeing 787 transport elements with 2,000 part numbers and 250,000 units per year, growing the highly profitable organization to 130 employees generating $35M in sales.

Earlier in his career, Juergen established a global MRO service organization for technical service and product support to airlines with 24/7 AOG service centers in the Far-East, USA and Europe. He attained airworthiness certification, transformed the operation into a service oriented profit center, and grew the business to $25M annually.

Mr. Viehrig is a proactive trouble-shooter; effectively negotiating with government and global customers, continuously improving work processes and products, and resolving issues to prevent recurrence.

Mr. Viehrig holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany and has continuing professional development and education in Aviation Law, Human Factors, and Certification to Sign Airworthiness of Aerospace Parts.

Currently, Juergen also serves as President and COO of REFA International an aerospace parts distributor.

Juergen is married with two sons and a daughter.
